July is a very busy travel and convention period in Cairns and it is strongly recommended that accommodation bookings are not left until the last minute. We recommend you book now!

The following hotels have been approached on your behalf, with discounts negotiated and a limited number of rooms in each hotel ‘pre-reserved’. Any bookings and deposits are to be made direct to the hotel and the Catchment to Coast conference rate should be mentioned when booking. Some venues have links to enable you to book directly.

Gilligans Backpackers Resort

Gilligans Backpackers Resort is in the centre of Cairns, just a few minutes walk from the Convention Centre. We have procured a very good rate (check for rates) for twin-share/double rooms (8 available), 4-bed dorms (5 available) and 6-bed dorms (4 available).
