Conference Registration

Delegates to the SWS Catchments to Coast and Australia Marine Sciences Association Conferences are invited to register. Earlybird registration has closed. Please note that fees will again increase after 9 June 2006 for late registrations. Registration fees must be paid prior to attendance at either conference.

All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include the Australian Goods and Service Tax (GST).

SWS Registrants: The registration form is only accessible through Internet Explorer. Please switch to Internet Explorer before proceeding or download it now from: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx

If you have registered via the website for the SWS program and have not received confirmation of your registration from Sally Brown, please send an email to  Sally.brown@uq.net.au to check if your registration has been received.  If you experience any problems with the on-line registration, please complete the attached form and fax to Sally Brown on +61 7 3201 2809 or scan and email to Sally.brown@uq.net.au

How to Register - SWS Registrants

Option 1:  For authors intending to submit a paper and SWS members

Step 1: Login to the website using the Login link in the side menu. If you don't have a username and password, you will need to register first (click the Register link). If you have registered but forgotten your username or password, you can recover your details from the Login page.

Step 2: Once you are logged in to the Welcome page, click the Register link for the Catchments to Coast (Wetland science stream).

Important note: Authors will need to use Option 1.

Option 2: For all other delegates to the SWS Conference
Conference delegates who are NOT submitting a paper to the 2006 conference may register using the link below. This option is also best for people or organisations who wish to register a third party to attend the conference.

How to Register - AMSA Registrants

Please go to the AMSA website to register, submit abstracts and upload Powerpoint presentations for the AMSA Conference.

Payment

You can make a secure online payment by credit card (visa, mastercard or bankcard only) or mail a cheque to the appropriate address below. In all instances you are required to fill out and submit the online registration form.

Miscellaneous

Refund / Cancellation Policy
Full refund minus AUD$100 cancellation fee will be given if written notification of cancellation is received before 26 June 2006. After 26 June 2006 no refunds will be given. Substitutes are welcome.

Privacy Clause
We will only use your personal information for the purposes (primary and secondary) which are permitted by the Information Privacy Act 2001, and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that we make you aware of how we use the information. We may use personal information about you in a variety of ways including:

  • Updating you with Conference information
  • Invoicing
  • Maintaining our relationship with you
  • Assisting you with future business
  • Provision of an attendees list when you register at the Conference

Disclaimer
The speakers, topics and times are correct at the time of publication. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the SWS Australian 2006 Organising Committee reserves the right to delete or alter items in the Conference program.

Liability/insurance
The Society of Wetland Scientists, Australian Marine Sciences Association and Conference Connections cannot accept responsibility for any financial losses incurred by the delegates and exhibitors in the event of industrial distruptions or natural disasters. Nor can the Society of Wetland Scientists, Australian Marine Sciences Association and Conference Connections take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Conference. Personal insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.
